On Wednesday evening we celebrated our Christmas Concert. It brought our community together to reflect on the true meaning of the season. Our students did a wonderful job of sharing the nativity story, retelling the birth of Jesus with reverence and awe. The audience was uplifted by a mix of traditional carols and festive songs, filling the MPA with the spirit of hope and unity. The concert not only showcased the children's talents but also served as a beautiful reminder of God’s love, making it a cherished highlight of the year. Thank you to all of our wonderful staff and children at SJK, we are truely blessed.

With smiles and excitement, each Year 6 student handed their younger buddy a thoughtful Christmas gift, a symbol of the friendship they had built throughout the year. For many, this was a bittersweet moment, as it marked not only the joy of the season but also a heartfelt goodbye before Year 6 move on to high school.

Yesterday Year 6 participated in a Reflection Day. The day provided the students with the opportunity to reflect on change and to identify dispositions and skills that they have developed throughout their primary school journey. Students spent time celebrating their uniqueness and recognising that while they are all different, they are part of a greater whole. This concept was beautifully tied to scripture. Through activities and discussions, the students were encouraged to see themselves as valuable and interconnected members of the community, carrying their faith and learning into the next stage of their lives.
